Thick sauce dosing: what to compare in a trial

Check feeding, repeated fills and shutoff with your product before comparing dosing options.

Describe the product at the filler inlet: temperature, particles and behavior after mixing or waiting. Include fill range, neck dimensions and supply-vessel level. Record feeding changes through the batch; a good run with a full hopper does not explain end-of-batch behavior.

Review piston and rotary-pump routes with the vessel, feed, valve and nozzle. Mechanism names alone do not establish viscosity suitability or particle passage. Record the actual configuration, feed conditions and operator actions for each option.

Log target dose and consecutive fill results using an agreed measurement method and acceptance range. Check startup, steady operation and restart. Observe strings, post-shutoff drips, foam and neck contamination separately: equal mass does not mean equal finished-pack quality.

For particulate sauce, compare samples before and after the product path. Record residual product and access during recipe changes. Bring CODAPAK the product, pack and trial comparison; confirm capacity and accuracy for that specific configuration.

Confirm the equipment route and interface scope needed in this phase. Product, pack, dose, normal and peak targets, and existing machines organise the next sample information.
