From tomato sauce filling to labeling: machine handovers

Check bottle transfer through filling, capping and labeling to define how the connected section should operate.

Map empty and filled bottle flow. Record direction, conveyor height, available length and bottle position at each handover. Provide the real bottle, closure and label artwork. Pack geometry matters across the section; selecting a filler alone does not confirm the full sequence.

After filling, assess neck and outer-surface cleanliness, cap placement and closing. At labeling, check bottle stability, required orientation and label position. For hot product, describe the actual pack condition at that point; intermediate operations depend on the project.

Define behavior when bottles, caps or downstream space are unavailable. List existing-machine signals and responsibility for coordinating controls. A communication protocol alone does not define joint stopping and restart logic.

Use the agreed pack set for startup, steady running, adjacent-machine stops and format changes. Send CODAPAK the layout, handover video, retained machines and new-supply boundary so integration work can be assessed explicitly.

Confirm the equipment route and interface scope needed in this phase. Product, pack, dose, normal and peak targets, and existing machines organise the next sample information.
