Find the bottleneck in a ketchup filling line

Compare product feeding, filling and downstream handling before choosing how to increase output.

Record a working cycle from product supply to filled-pack transfer. Log the time and cause of each stop: product, empty containers, caps or downstream space. Include video of machine handovers. Shift output alone cannot identify the source of lost time.

Review restart separately from steady operation. Record ketchup condition and temperature at the feed point, neck contamination after a pause, foam and dose changes. Compare the same recipe and pack rather than combining different formats into one nominal speed.

Check whether the capper accepts the actual filled-pack flow and whether the next stage clears the conveyor. Mark accumulation points, transfer heights and directions. A faster filler alone does not establish higher whole-line output; identify the stage that repeatedly constrains flow.

Share the stop log, layout and video of the recurring interruption with CODAPAK. Agree on start, steady-run and restart checks using the same product and pack. Define output and acceptance criteria before the trial; continuous operation does not mean maintenance-free or stop-free operation.

Confirm the equipment route and interface scope needed in this phase. Product, pack, dose, normal and peak targets, and existing machines organise the next sample information.
