Sauce filling buyer notes

Move from manual sauce filling to staged automation

Choose the first operation to automate using actual time losses, packaging and the tasks operators will still perform.

Break manual work into feeding, placing containers, dosing, cleaning necks, closing and moving packs. Time a typical order and record rework. Separate normal output from required output: pack shortages or slow closing may still limit results after replacing the filler.

Compare adding one module with linking several operations. List retained machines, manual replenishment, handling and inspection for each scenario. When automating filling first, check whether operators or the existing capper can accept its flow. Reserve space for later expansion without silently including it in the current supply.

Prepare the most common pack and the most demanding sauce, with matched closures. Agree on dose, neck cleanliness, closing and format-change checks. Record who performs each trial action; extra demonstration staff may not represent normal shift operation.

Plan the shutdown window, connections, training sequence and connected-section checks. Send CODAPAK the manual-process video, retained-equipment list and constraints. Assess actual output and remaining manual work using the agreed scenario, without assuming a staffing reduction.

Confirm the equipment route and interface scope needed in this phase. Product, pack, dose, normal and peak targets, and existing machines organise the next sample information.
