Sauce filling buyer notes
Automatic ketchup filling: checks before selection
Define automation around the recipe and pack, including changeovers and the work that remains with operators.
Provide ketchup in its filling condition, stating temperature, fill range and recipe characteristics. Show particles or changes after waiting through samples and video. The product name alone does not determine feeding or dosing; assess options with the actual product.
Describe the container and closure as a set: bottle or jar, neck dimensions, cap and finished-pack requirements. Trial empty-container feeding, holding, filling, cap placement and downstream transfer. A different pack such as a spouted pouch needs its own route and sample assessment.
Identify who replenishes product, containers and caps, removes rejects and changes formats. Request a list of manual operations and format parts for each pack. Discuss cleaning and service access; cleaning methods depend on the construction and agreed procedure, not the word automatic.
Send CODAPAK the recipe, pack and operation lists. Agree on repeated fills, neck cleanliness, closing and format-change checks. Assess output with the selected product and configuration rather than extending one pack’s results to every recipe and size.
Confirm the equipment route and interface scope needed in this phase. Product, pack, dose, normal and peak targets, and existing machines organise the next sample information.
