Sauce filling buyer notes
Filling diced tomatoes: particle condition and fill composition
Check particle condition and the solids-to-liquid ratio as well as total pack weight.
Provide samples containing the largest pieces, with shape, firmness, liquid proportion and acceptable post-fill condition. Show settling during waiting. These inputs support review of the vessel, pump, valve and nozzle; particle passage cannot be inferred from a machine name.
Agree on sampling before and after the product path. Compare appearance and damaged particles using your chosen criterion. Check consecutive packs too: equal mass with different proportions of pieces and liquid may not meet finished-product requirements.
Use the actual container and closure. Review neck opening, dose and closure-zone contamination with particle passage. Include startup, filling after waiting and batch completion to reveal changes in fill composition.
Give CODAPAK product and pack samples, photographs of the largest pieces and integrity criteria. Use them to plan a configuration-specific trial; suitability for diced tomatoes does not validate every particulate product.
Confirm the equipment route and interface scope needed in this phase. Product, pack, dose, normal and peak targets, and existing machines organise the next sample information.
