Dimensioned line layout for an equipment upgrade
Map retained machines, product flow and room constraints before discussing a new line stage.
Start with room dimensions, doors, columns and access routes. Mark retained machines, conveyor height and direction, and container entry and exit points. Include maintenance and changeover areas; apparent empty floor space may not be available for equipment.
Add power and other required utility connection points. Describe pack dimensions, actual output of neighboring machines, accumulation areas and available control signals. A short sequence video can show container queues and waiting between stages.
Separate immediate changes from later expansion. State the available shutdown window and equipment access constraints. These inputs support layout and interface discussions; final dimensions, connections and acceptance criteria are agreed for the specific project.
Confirm the equipment route and interface scope needed in this phase. Product, pack, dose, normal and peak targets, and existing machines organise the next sample information.
