Collection & buffering
Collection and buffering receive labeled bottles and hold them for manual pickup or case packing; downstream rate and container condition determine the buffer and handoff.
If finished bottles crowd, fall, or fill the turntable after labeling or coding, buffer design cannot be chosen by turntable diameter alone.
Send the finished bottle, normal and peak upstream rates, manual pick or automatic case-packing rate, desired buffer time, and full-buffer response.
This stage can be added to an existing line or built into a new one. Surrounding machines, pack, normal and peak rates, fault handling, and layout determine the interfaces.
