Sleeving & shrinking
The sleeving stage applies and shrinks body sleeves or tamper bands; pack design, film, and shrink position determine the specific combination.
Body sleeves, neck tamper bands, and shaped containers differ in film, lay-flat width, cut length, drop orientation, and shrink position.
Send the container and sleeve with flat dimensions, and mark print pitch, registration graphic, shrink method, and current conveyor direction and rate.
This stage can be added to an existing line or built into a new one. Surrounding machines, pack, normal and peak rates, fault handling, and layout determine the interfaces.
